We were happy to take part in the 2025 Pet Summit Philippines, held at Ayala Malls Manila Bay from March 28 to 30. DogHouse.PH was invited to lead a Dog Yoga session, in partnership with xkins.co and Jan Llamado, CXAC (Cert), makers of the first locally crafted, airline-approved pet carriers.
Our Dog Yoga session was a sampler of what we usually offer—an introduction to the practice. We were in an open area, so while a small group joined us on the mat, there were many more who stood around watching from a close distance. It wasn’t the most intimate setting for that kind of mind-body connection, but we knew that going in. We adjusted the flow and tone of the session accordingly—something we’re always mindful of. Wherever we bring DogHouse.PH, the programming depends on the space and the people in it.
We saw curiosity, joy, and for a brief moment — a real sense of calm. For the participants, it was a chance to pause with their dogs, breathe, and simply be present. For everyone else who stopped to watch, it was hopefully a glimpse of what’s possible when we start thinking about wellness, with animals—not as a gimmick, but as a real part of how we live and recharge.
Dog Yoga will become a regular activity for us at the OCA Collective, opening soon in BGC.
Dog Yoga is also one of the many experiences planned for ReTreats by DogHouse Air, our upcoming pet-inclusive wellness travel series.
Thanks again to everyone who came by. Always grateful for the chance to test, refine, and share what we believe in.
Big shoutout to Karla Kangleon for pulling off such a well-run and vibrant event—it was packed with energy, people, and of course, dogs, about 10 thousand!
